WISH event by Day de Dada

Here are some photos from the Day de Dada WISH event at the Culture Lounge of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.  The performance went well and I wrote out over 150 wishes on my own and with viewer participation.  It was especially nice to see so many kids get involved.  I left the remaining pennies at the gallery penny-side-up for viewers to find...

The nature of the space and audience unfortunately didn't lend well towards promoting Franceska McCullough's 11 Million Hands project but I did offer some flyers to people who could take them if they were interested in participating later.  And I still encourage anyone reading this to check it out and participate, with or without wish pennies...

Wishes Will Be Returning

Wishes will be returning in collaboration with 11 Million Hands by Franceska McCullough as part of Day de Dada's Wish installation at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal in NY.  I will post more information about the show and event here as it evolves.  I have included the image I mailed in for the postcard show in this post.
